Lisa Lanier was born in High Point, North Carolina. She received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lisa worked as an associate for a large law firm in the Triangle for several years practicing insurance defense. In 1995 she began her own practice concentrating on helping people with all types of injury claims. Since then, Lanier Law Group has grown to eight offices throughout North Carolina. Lisa is married and has two children. She has been a long distance runner for many years having completed four marathons. She hopes to complete a fifth in the coming year.



Kevin Ginsberg is a trial attorney with Lanier Law Group, focusing his practice on personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence and workers’ compensation. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and a 2000 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law. After graduating from law school, Kevin clerked for the Honorable Justice Patricia Timmons-Goodson of the North Carolina Supreme Court when she was a Judge with the North Carolina Court of Appeals, he ran a nonprofit organization for lawyers, and he worked for Kirschbaum, Nanney, Brown and Keenan before joining Lanier Law Group in 2003. Kevin is also a semi-professional juggler as well as a marathon runner. Kevin lives in Durham with his wife, Andrea, and their two sons.



Tim Gray is a trial attorney with Lanier Law Group, focusing his practice in the areas of personal injury, workers' compensation and premises liability. He is a 1996 graduate of Appalachian State University and a 1999 graduate of Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Prior to joining Lanier Law Group, Tim worked for a multi-state firm where he had a general practice including the areas of family law, criminal law and personal injury. He is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, North Carolina Bar Association and Guilford County Bar Association. In his spare time, Tim enjoys running, playing soccer and spending time with his wife and daughter.



Todd Mozingo grew up in Wilson, North Carolina. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received a Bachelor’s degree in English and a law degree. After graduating from law school, Todd worked for the State of North Carolina where he heard and rendered decisions in administrative law cases. Before joining Lanier Law Group, Todd also pursued a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Todd’s practice areas currently include workers’ compensation and social security disability law. He enjoys traveling, gardening, and whitewater rafting. Todd and his family live in Morrisville.




Don Higley
Don Higley is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received his J.D. Degree from Campbell University's Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1994. He previously practiced with Hopf & Higley, located at 1694 East Arlington Boulevard, Suite E, Greenville, North Carolina 27858. On August 1, 2010, Don joined Lanier Law Group, P.A., 108 W. Firetower Road, Suite G, Winterville, North Carolina 28590. Don's practice focuses on Personal Injury, Business Litigation, Environmental and Construction Law.




Peter Van Roten is a litigation attorney focusing in the area of personal injury. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, and a 2009 graduate of Elon University School of Law with concentrations in litigation and general practice. Prior to joining Lanier Law Group, Peter worked in Charlotte in the business litigation sector. In his spare time, Peter plays on a hockey team and enjoys the company of his boxer, Steiger, and Basset hound, Sadie Maye.



Michael F. Roessler is a trial attorney with Lanier Law Group who focuses his practice on personal injury and workers' compensation. He graduated with high honors in 1999 from Queens University of Charlotte with degrees in history and political science and attended law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors in 2008. Michael was a newspaper reporter for five years before attending law school and was recognized for his work by the North Carolina Press Association. He has had several pieces of legal scholarship published and has served as an adjunct professor of political science at Queens University of Charlotte. Michael is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, Mecklenburg County Bar, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He and his wife live in Charlotte.
